Frequently Asked Questions
What is T&T Cleaner 2.0?
T&T Cleaner 2.0 is the manufacturer’s updated formulation of the original T&T Cleaner, and it is the only version sold in the USA today. Every 22kg jug Protect Systems ships is T&T Cleaner 2.0, supplied through Protect Systems as the official USA distributor.
Is the original T&T Cleaner still available in the USA?
No. The original formulation has been replaced by T&T Cleaner 2.0 in the US market, which was updated by the manufacturer with improved paint safety. Protect Systems now supplies T&T Cleaner 2.0 exclusively.
Can you still buy T&T Cleaner in the USA?
Yes. You can still buy T&T Cleaner 2.0 in the USA through Protect Systems as the official USA distributor. Many buyers who start with T&T Cleaner 2.0 are now using ProFoam after seeing side‑by‑side cleaning and dwell-time results.
Is T&T Cleaner the same as MS T&T Cleaner?
Yes. MS T&T Cleaner is the manufacturer’s full product name from MS Schippers, the company that produces it in the Netherlands. In the USA, the current version is sold as T&T Cleaner 2.0 through Protect Systems, the official USA distributor.
How do you use T&T Cleaner?
Pour T&T Cleaner into your foamer canister at 100% concentration, then set the adjustment dial between 2 and 4 depending on your pressure and GPM. Apply a thin, even layer of foam with cold water, let it soak for 1-3 minutes without drying or sliding off, then wash from the bottom up, avoiding direct sunlight. Make sure the foam does not dry on the surface or slide off. Pre-rinse aluminum and wash quickly after foaming.
How much equipment will one 22kg jug clean?
At the cannon dial setting of 2, one 22kg jug of T&T Cleaner 2.0 can clean up to 100 pickup trucks or an equivalent amount of equipment.
What is the difference between T&T Cleaner and ProFoam?
T&T Cleaner is the original foam cleaner that we started with. ProFoam is the next‑generation foam cleaner developed by Protect Systems with significantly longer cling and dwell time, so you can foam full machines instead of working in small sections, and most operators who test both side by side transition their primary washing over to ProFoam.
